Authenticity & Accuracy
The 1937-1947 sidecar mounting bracket straightleg right replica is the period-correct right-side bracket for attaching a sidecar to straightleg Big Twin frames from 1937 through 1947, and late Panhead straightleg frames from 1954 through 1957. Investment cast to exact original dimensions. Cast components carry the original casting numbers as used by Harley-Davidson in period production – a detail we consider essential for any restoration that aims to be truly period-correct.
Designed as a direct replacement for original or damaged parts. Each part includes an E355 steel insert for a clean, strong connection to your existing tubing.
How it works:
Cut the existing tubing at the weld seam. The insert fits partially into the new part and partially into the remaining tubing. Weld the assembly back together following the specifications in your frame certificate.
The result is a joint with the same structural integrity as the original — no improvised solutions, no compromise on strength.
Always weld according to the specifications in your frame certificate. Deviating from the specified procedures may affect structural integrity and will void the warranty.
