Authenticity & Accuracy
The 1946 Knucklehead Bullneck frame replica marks one of the most significant moments in Harley-Davidson’s post-war story — the resumption of civilian production after years of wartime output. The 1946 frame introduced the bullneck neck casting and the revised 30° neck angle, a geometry that would carry forward into the early Panhead era. For restorers, a correct 1946 frame is the foundation of one of the most historically charged Knuckleheads it is possible to build. This replica reproduces the bullneck wishbone geometry of OEM 47000-40A, for EL and UL engines.
Delivered bare with a certificate. Cast components carry the original casting numbers as used by Harley-Davidson in period production — a detail we consider essential for any restoration that aims to be truly period-correct.
