The 1952-1953 Panhead wishbone frame replica represents the most refined version of the wishbone design – the result of five years of continuous production development since the Panhead’s introduction. By 1952 the FL had settled into a thoroughly proven specification, and the wishbone frame had become the definitive visual identity of the era. This replica reproduces the wishbone geometry and 30° neck angle of OEM 47000-40A, correct to the 1952-1953 FL production run.
Delivered bare with a certificate. Cast components carry the original casting numbers as used by Harley-Davidson in period production – a detail we consider essential for any restoration that aims to be truly period-correct.
