The 1954-57 Panhead straightleg frame replica covers the final chapter of Panhead frame production – the years in which Harley-Davidson replaced the wishbone lower tubes with the cleaner straightleg design that would carry the FL through to the end of the decade. The late Panhead straightleg is the most refined frame the pre-unit era produced, and for builders working on a correct 1954-1957 FL it is the only starting point that makes sense. This replica reproduces the straightleg geometry and 30° neck angle of OEM 47003-54A.
Delivered bare with a certificate. Cast components carry the original casting numbers as used by Harley-Davidson in period production – a detail we consider essential for any restoration that aims to be truly period-correct.
