The 1954 Panhead early wishbone frame replica covers the early part of the 1954 production run – the final months of wishbone production before Harley-Davidson transitioned to the straightleg design mid-year. This makes the early 1954 a transitional frame with genuine historical interest: mechanically identical to the proven 1952-1953 spec, yet produced in smaller numbers than any full wishbone year. This replica reproduces the wishbone geometry and 30° neck angle of OEM 47000-40A for the FL.
Delivered bare with a certificate. Cast components carry the original casting numbers as used by Harley-Davidson in period production – a detail we consider essential for any restoration that aims to be truly period-correct.
